Educational information
This website provides general information about trademark, copyright, licensing, and related services. It is not individualized legal advice or a substitute for reviewing the particular asset, facts, and applicable law.
No engagement by browsing or booking
Using the website, sending an inquiry, or scheduling a call does not create an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only after conflicts review, acceptance, and an appropriate engagement agreement. The 15-minute introductory call is distinct from a paid IP Strategy Session.
Scope and qualifications
Legal work is limited to matters and jurisdictions where authorized. Trademark searches, filings, office-action responses, maintenance, licensing, and disputes are distinct scopes. Patent prosecution is not offered. International work, appeals, litigation, and complex disputes require separate review and may be referred.
No guaranteed outcome
No search, filing, advice, or enforcement service guarantees registration, exclusive rights in every context, removal, recovery, settlement, or a particular outcome. Offices and third parties make their own decisions.
Client responsibilities and deadlines
Clients must provide accurate ownership, authorship, use, publication, and other relevant facts, complete correspondence, and timely approvals. A consultation request does not extend any deadline. Do not wait for a website response when an urgent matter requires qualified assistance.
Professional fees and government charges
Published prices are USD starting professional fees for defined scopes—not unlimited flat-fee offers. Government fees, third-party costs, and separately accepted work are additional. The written agreement confirms the final professional fee, payment structure, timing, meetings, revisions, exclusions, and responsibilities.
Ongoing support
Monthly advisory covers an agreed portfolio and capacity. It is not automatically continuous monitoring, a commercial watch subscription, unlimited advice, filing, or enforcement. Additional projects require agreement.
External resources and media
Official resources and original media from The Strategy Counsel are provided for context, not as endorsements. Information and third-party policies can change. Confirm applicable government fees before filing.
